The reason for this is that there are no oil marks where oil has dripped from parked cars or cars stopped at intersections. Strict automobile inspection regulations prohibit cars that drip oil (among many other things) from being driven on the road. Check this out the next time you're on the Resort Line and look down into a parking lot.

I haven't come across any layouts that show the foot print of the hotel and the surrounding area. Anyone know?

Last time I went I enjoyed immensly, still have my opening day Tokyo Disney Seas postcards, ticket, etc. BTW do they still have the just enter but not ride ticket? And do I really have to show up before opening to get the most of it still? I'm a bit out of date, but i'm glad to say i've been. Ask MissCandice for her opinion on my TDL photos (they're still packed, i'll add them later ) So how will this rate to the Miracosta?

There was a layout plan on www.jtcent.com not long ago but I could not find it to post a link to it. >>TDL - the next time I go to Tokyo (Planned for 08, when I visit someone who lives there), could I bother asking you for a few tips? << For a nominal fee. >>do they still have the just enter but not ride ticket?<< No. The "Admission-only" pass was discontinued about 5 yrs ago I believe... I don't remember it ever being offered at TDS. >>So how will this rate to the Miracosta?<< Knowing OLC, I am sure it will compare quite favorably once it's opened, and it should be quite a site and barrier of sorts. It will eliminate the unsightly train track and expressway bridge not seen from TDL's main entrance at monorail station, with a "curtain". I think the effect of the hotel against the monorail and TDL's entrance will make for a most enjoyable set up. I hope.

Re: Re-read the caption, and no you did not say it was the hotel But the whole photo album is "TDL Hotel progress", so that is what confused me! LoL

I look forward to see how it will stack up against TDS' Miracosta, WDW's GFH, DL's GCH, DLP's DLH, and HKDL's HKDLH. Plus according to the renderings.. the top turrets on top of the building will be about 10 stories above, so I am sure the TDLH will tower over the TDR Line Station when seen from World Bazaar's entrance, similar to the way the DLH towers over the train station at DLP when seen from Main Street.
