    At the same time, a well-dressed business man was in the store shopping for candles for his wife.

    He carried his purchases up to the register and noticed the woman and the little girl who were a few feet away.

    He looked at the child then turned to me and said, "Add that to my bill. I'd like her to have that."

    He paid for the toy, told the little girl it was hers to keep, and walked out the store.

    [The girl was teen aged so it wasn't like my customer was giving candy to a small child against the mother's wishes. It was all positive.]
