When you go to breakfast, do you get a voucher for each person? Or is it like other complimentary breakfasts where you just go down and eat. Do I need to tell them how many people are in my party when I arrive? It will be 5 max. But I don't want to pay an extra $40.00 a night if I don't have to. It seems like you would have to show at least your hotel card? How do they regulate people not just showing up at the hotel for a free breakfast? Anyway, I know that's terrible, but anyone have the info? Thanks a lot!

I wouldn't show up at breakfast in my own house looking like some of these people! Tomorrow's rant: flip-flops are not shoes. . .

I'm a pretty honest person, however, and will probably end up paying the extra $20.00 a night per person. Thanks for your reply!

That hotel houses LOTS of people - mostly families and not your typical business travelers like most Embassy's. It's got the biggest atrium of any Embassy I've stayed at (company standard hotel when I traveled on business).
Originally Posted By threeundertwo Nope, no vouchers this time, but we did get the "stoplight" flyer. Very funny. Love the atrium and the fish. If you look carefully, sometimes you can see the turtle. When we were there at Christmas, the chef had made a huge, real, gingerbread house. My kids could have played inside. Unfortunately, as the days passed, some of the tiles fell off and it started looking a bit icky, like the witch was eating Hansel and Gretel inside.

I'm wondering if because it's the San Diego downtown location, they will have vouchers. O'well. I'll probably just check in and see if we get vouchers. If not, no worry. If we do, I'll have to add another person or two to my room. Uggh. $220.00 + $40.00 extra per night=$260.00 a night. That should cover breakfast! LOL. Thanks again.
