Hook up your iPod and you should be able to add them back in from iTunes.

OK, now another question. Since I had to restore I lost some songs I bought. I see them in the itunes store as purchased but not in my music library. Any ideas?

    Thanks everyone!

With the iTunes music/movie/app store, generally not. This makes it different than other online stores, such as Amazon, Audible, and the like, that promote that they maintain your purchase library for you so you can delete and re-download at any time.

For some reason, iTunes is very specific in this regard: once you download a purchased item, it's your responsibility to back it up to protect against loss.

Having said that, if you send them an email listing what happened and a list of things you'd like to re-download, they are likely to flag those items to allow another download for free as long as you don't constantly ask them to do this.
