Second question: Even if the decorations go up in mid-November (as is the case with Disneyland in CA), does the Christmas season at DLP go into "full effect" at a later date?

    Thanks (again)!

Sadly, there is no longer a special Christmas parade, but the treelighting ceremony, snow on Main Street and Dickensian Carolers are great.

True, but Santa does make an appearance with his reindeer (real) at the end of the afternoon parade.
