It's interesting to think how new the structure actually is; it had a telephone installed in it when it was first built! The time from now to when DL opened is roughly the same as between DL's opening and Neuschwanstein's construction. Crazy! And what an awesome opportunity to get to be part of the promo shoot! I did a couple EF tours many years ago and really enjoyed them. They seemed to find a good balance of getting the highlights and finding less touristy things off the beaten path, and were paced really well. And getting to do it for free only makes it better!

The mountains behind the castle in Hong Kong don't dwarf their castle any more than the mountains in Germany do. If anything, the mountains in Germany dwarf the larger castle a lot more than the mountains in Hong Kong dwarf the castle there. So much for trying to say the castle in Hong Kong is dwarfed by the mountains behind it. I think that both castles are actually complimented by the mountains surrounding them.
