It all sounds great and needed. The last new thing that made a statement was SLASH MOUNTAIN. Well, now that I said that, I have to take it back. I mean WISHES is stunning. Anyway, the budget is suppose to be close to the DCA makeover. The article ends with a "Cause if what I've described makes it to completion, you guys are going to be booking your tickets to Orlando rather earlier than you planned. There's a reason to go to WDW that is totally unique for a change." tre cool

Count me though as one who does not mind the tent-style attraction facades...unlike the original Fantasyland in DL, their is enough village architecture between the attraction entrances to still make the land look well-done (i.e. Pinocchio Village Haus, Columbia Harbor House, Mrs. Pott's Cupboard, etc.)

Now, Google Picasa) Anyway .... I saw ONE potential great plan .. out of the loss of 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea .. and if Disney is smart ... they would follow this idea. With 20K gone ..... they could expand Fantasyland going north to as far as the railroad track ... and even further ... depending on how ambitious they. When you look at my map ... In RED is the perimeter, including the space for the subs showbuilding and lagoon. In YELLOW .. is the footprint for all the space WDI would have for the future. In GREEN ... would be the corrider to lead to areas where there could be all sorts of new things (at least 6 the way I see it).. spread out over a of couple decades. And the little rectangular marking .. would be a WDWRR train station. In BLUE .. is a re-routed "Magic Kingdom Drive" access road .. with a bridge leading over the water way. If Disney boxes themselves in .. and only lay in attraction space in what was only the sub and lagoon locations .. they cut themselves off from what could be added capacity to the park. Mind you ... they could lay in only one or two attractions at the beginning ... But over time .. they could fill it out as they desire.
