For some reason he wanted a diaper. I didn't pack diapers. I had pull ups and underwear. Since he had done so well the previous three days I offered him a pair of Buzz underwear which seemed to appease him. Soon we were off!

There was barely anyone there when we got there so we spent some time taking pictures at the front gates. Every year I get a picture of him holding onto the bars on the gate, begging to be let in. As I was taking these pictures I quickly realized that I had forgotten to put my memory card back in my camera after getting pictures off of it the night before. That changed my plans since I was planning on using the time with light crowds during Early Entry to get some castle shots. :( The internal memory on my camera only holds about 10 pictures at the quality I like. Bummer.

As soon as we were let in, we headed towards Buzz. We did two rounds without waiting and, for a brief, shining moment I had the number 3 score on the board! :) Jake seemed to be done with Buzz so we headed to the hub and castle and carefully rationed the shots on my camera to get a few good ones. I checked the Photo store but it wasn't open yet.

I was starting to get hungry so I headed to the Blue Ribbon Bakery for my all time favorite breakfast- a warm cinnamon roll and iced cafe mocha. When I was pregnant with Jake that was my favorite thing to get when we visited the park (with decaf coffee, of course!) and I have to get it at least once a trip. I love sitting and eating and people watching!

I had just settled in to eat when someone declared it potty time. We headed for the bathroom and the kid tripped. He fell pretty hard on both knees and hands. He wasn't bleeding but was pretty much inconsolable.

Usually at home it helps him to have some ice put on his owies so we headed over to First Aid. The nurse there was wonderful and gave him an ice pack and Minnie Mouse sticker which made him feel better! We used their bathroom then headed back out so I could finish my breakfast.

By the time I finished breakfast the photo shop had opened. I popped in and bought a new memory card. I figured since we were planning on seeing Tinkerbell later it would be just as cheap to buy a new memory card than to buy pictures from Photopass!

We casually walked around the hub area so that I could snap some more pictures and enjoy just being in Disneyland.

One thing that Jake had totally loved throughout the trip was watching the ducks. We headed over to the little bridge to Frontierland to watch the ducks. While we were there Jonathan the security guard came with a baggie of Cheerios to feed the ducks.

We got to chatting and found out that he's pretty much known as the Duck Guy. Any time there's a duck situation, he gets called. He knows all of their names and ages and can tell stories about all of them! It was a nice little treat to chat with him!

After a little more meandering I realized that Pixie Hollow would be opening soon. Jake hasn't seen Peter Pan yet but he knows Tinkerbell because she flies in the logo before his other movies! He couldn't wait to meet her!

We passed our time in line by blowing bubbles and a potty break (thanks guy behind us in line for saving our spot!) and soon we were meeting Tink and her friend! Jake LOVED Tink and we got the cutest pictures!

I had decided that, as long as it was just me and Jake, it would be his day to choose the activities. I asked where he wanted to go and he, of course said "Mickey's House!" So off to Toon Town we went!

It was pretty much deserted! We walked right up to Minnie and Goofy. Pluto played with us for a while. We even went back to Goofy several times because no one was hanging out with him! We, of course, saw Mickey again and got more great pictures! We played around on the cars in Toon Town and in Goofy's Garden then Jake wanted to see the Tiki birds again!

After more Tiki we headed across to California Adventure to see the Playhouse Disney show again. We were a bit early so we hung around for a few minutes in the Animation building. When it was showtime, we headed back over and saw the show. I think he loved it even more the second time!

After the show we headed back to the Animation building. Jake has been very into drawing lately so I thought it would be fun to do the Animation Academy. I drew a pretty darn good Pluto (if I do say so myself!) and the kid drew Thomas the Train. Not quite Disney but he had fun! :)

I was getting hungry and it was a bit crowded so we headed over to White Water Snacks for lunch. I ran into AladdinAZ there which was a fun surprise! We hadn't really had a chance to chat at the meets so it was great to see him! Jake and I shared a very yummy burger and fries!

At this point it was very hot and I was tired so we headed back to the hotel. On the way out we went through one of the shops and I spied a really cute Mickey Mouse and Hawaiian print sundress. I had been looking for a cute dress to wear over my bathing suit and that was perfect! And since xPPx had given me Disney dollars to pay for the room, it was almost like getting it for free! ;-)

After a nice rest, we headed back to Disneyland! The kid wanted to do the train so we hopped on on Main Street and I chatted with a very nice lady and her daughters.

As we hopped off the train, I noticed that Main Street was packed with people ready for the parade. I had no desire to sit and see the show stop but I noticed that there was absolutely no one sitting by where the parade leaves Main Street. We found a nice little shady spot and waited.

It took longer than I thought it would but eventually the parade came and our patience was rewarded! Absolutely no on came to sit by us so we were the only people in the area. It was like having our own private parade! Many of the performers came to give Jake a high five and all the characters waved to us! It was so cool!

All throughout the day I tried to get a hold of Danielle and Brian and we kept missing each other and being in opposite parks. They wanted to see the Electrical Parade so we agreed to meet on Main Street afterwards.

The kiddo wanted to do Tiki Room again so we headed over there. It was about our fourth time so I was kind of zoned out during the show. When we got the the whistling part, I looked up to see someone dancing around the fountain. It was Maynard! I've always wanted to meet him!

After the show we hung back a bit. I didn't see Maynard but I asked the other CM if he was around and he offered to get him for me! :) Maynard was wonderful, he happily posed for a picture with us then offered to do a commercial for us! He told a really fun little story with different voices for different characters, Jake loved it!

Next we took a trip to the 100 Acre Woods! The kid then agreed to go on Haunted Mansion again. He got a little nervous in the line so we started talking about the dog in the cemetary. He decided that the "doggy was cold and needed a blanket to go to bed." He did great on the ride again! We did another Jungle Cruise then headed back to Toon Town to say goodbye to Mickey. :(

After spending some more time playing in Toon Town, he said he wanted to drive cars so we headed over to Tomorrowland. The Autopia line wasn't horrible so we hopped in. I noticed while we were in line that Jake was holding himself. I asked him if he needed to go potty, he said no. I asked again when we got to the Fastpass merge point, he said no again.

When we got to the front he desperately wanted to ride an "orange car like Mamaw's and Grumpa's." Well, we ended up with a blue one. So he cried. Then he wanted to sit on my lap. So he cried more. I realized it would hold everyone up for us to get out of the car and leave so I plopped him next to me and we were off!

I realized a bit after we left that he was now fussing because he had an owie on his cheek from falling in the hotel on the first day and his tears were getting into it, stinging it. I gave him a few kisses on the cheek while I drove and he was a happy boy once again!

When we got out of the car I asked again if he needed to go potty, answer was still no. We hopped on the train, intending to take the whole circle but at Main Street he said he wanted to do Buzz so we hopped out there. I asked again about the potty, he said no.

As we were boarding Buzz I realized we were right by the Baby Care Center and I thought maybe he'd want to use the little potty there. So we hopped on Buzz, I was having a great game...when I felt something warm all over my lap. Yup, he peed on me.

I quickly alerted the CM at the end of the ride then we ran to grab the stroller where we left it at Autopia. I really couldn't be mad, he had been SO good throughout the week, it was his first accident throughout our whole trip. The lady in the Baby Center was wonderful and very sweet. Thankfully he didn't get me too bad and I was able to clean myself up pretty well.

It was getting close to fireworks time so we found a spot at Main Street Station so we could meet up with Danielle afterwards. It was a pretty good view and we were even able to see Dumbo fly! I did have to cover the kid's ears again though!

After fireworks we met Danielle and Brian at the flagpole and they had a surprise for us! They had bought some of the pictures from Mickey's house the previous day and had four pictures for us! :) It was so sweet! They had Space Mountain fastpasses so we headed over there and got a baby swap pass. I was really wanting to do a big kid ride at that point!

Danielle and Brian got in line but then realized that even the fastpass line was long and they were tired so they backed out and met me at the exit. Brian said he'd hang out with Jake while Dani and I used the babyswap pass. We were on and off the ride very quickly and came out to find the boys gone!

We thought they may have gone in the Starcade but we checked and didn't see them. I was a teensy bit nervous, I had only met Brian the day before. He seemed like a nice guy, not a kidnapper...

Well, Danielle got on the phone and guess where they were? The kid had to use the bathroom again and Brian, God bless him, had gotten him there in time! Turns out he's a nice guy, not a kidnapper! :)

At this point we were all tired so we decided to call it a night. We made arrangements to meet up the next morning for a quick trip to the beach and said goodbye.

I only cried a little leaving Main Street...

Sounds like a great day, even with the accident. Glad you got to ride Space. I missed it this trip, we never did seem to get over there, did we?

    Great report!
