We walked to DL a few times- but it's a little further than some people like. We didn't think it was bad at all, even with kids in tow.

The building itself is very nice, but the rooms were a bit small, their bus(shuttle) VERY cramped, and probably too far to walk. It's better suited for small families so if that's your case, it'll probably be fine.

Also, there are three restaurants in the parking lot: Red Robin, Joe's Crab Shack and Outback. It is definitely not within walking distance of Disneyland, but it is along the ART route and you can buy tickets at the front desk. All in all you made a good choice as it is one of the top hotels (off property) in the whole area.

No kitchen but we did have a refig/freezer combo. The breakfast buffet is no longer free but it is really good. We only ate there one morning; the other morning we hit Starbucks (warning about the Starbucks. It is an 'express one.' Had very different pastries and not a very good selection!). We have parking with our AP so we drove. Never had a problem with parking. All in all, we had a great visit but I also think it helped that we got such a good price. We hit Red Robin one night. Love also that it was across the street from Target. Everyone we interacted with was great--very friendly and helpful.
