Mark Twain R.B. catches fire but is okay...

    Last night the Mark Twain River Boat caught fire during Fantasmic...luckily there is no damage

    If I understand correctly, the rivers didn't catch fire when they were supposed to. But the flammable liquid was still out there, and the pinwheels on the Mark Twain caused the lake to catch fire at the wrong time, when the Twain was out there in the middle of it all. Very scary!

    i have to admit in the back of my mind i always worry when the twain is cruising by and the fireworks start springing up around it. they seem awfully close. I am suprised it hasn't happen more often or sooner.but then again i am sure the entertainment folk and imagineers have it planned so this doesn't happen.
    Could you imagine if they burned down the Twain. The hardcore disney fans, including myself would never forgive Disney!!lol

    IIRC, the MT is equipped to be used as a fireboat to put out a fire on the island or near the Rivers, by pumping river water through one or more hoses. It would be interesting to see it save itself.
