Back in the 80's, my partner LOVED an obscure disco record: "Evita" by Festival. When we had switched over to CD's and our turntable died, I checked, year after year, to see if that album had miraculously become available on CD. Never. I gave up. Years later, somebody made "Evita" into a movie. Madonna had a hit with a dance version of a song from the soundtrack. That reminded me to check again for Festival's album. And -- dios mio! -- there it was! I loved, Loved, LOVED "Murder, She Wrote." But I never taped it -- which I kicked myself for as soon as the series went off the air. Twenty years later... There it is. I'd use my last example to demonstrate how I'm still waiting for something. But today, after 20 years of waiting, I just discovered that "Don't Turn Around" by The Raes is available on CD. O!M!G! I can die happy now.
