We had enough time for a good meal and then went to DCA for TSMM and Screamin’ then headed over for a good time with PB and her birthday gang. The biggest shock of all being that I slept really well that night. Woke up rarin’ to go. We hit Disneyland ground running and covered the Park. Just a really great day with only me and Rod. I did NOT sleep Thursday night but feel I did really well on 2-3 hours sleep. We hit the Park early Friday. Did Fantasyland in record time being allowed to stay on Mr Toad and Alice for a second trip. We did Storybook boats and were the only two onboard. I told the CM he could rest his vocal cords and we just did the cruise chatting with him and looking at the special Christmas decorations on the little houses and trees. (This was really special by the way.) We met up with the Clones in the afternoon. (I new I should have been writing stuff down as I am forgetting the order of things.) But we were with our Clones so I know we were having a wonderful time. Saturday the real fun started. We made it to every meet. It was so great to see some old friends and meet some for the first time. Then, at a really terrific lunch meet, we were asked to join a group who had been invited to perform for Tiana’s Showboat Jubilee!! What a blast we had. I was able to pass my video camera off to disneylandfan8 and she did a wonderful job of filming. (Thank you sweetie!) After the Pirate’s meet we were taking pictures in the Angel garden thingy and Pirate Princess and lemisfan asked us to join them for Processional. And so lucky we are that we said okay. We were joined by Alexbook and then Lulu. After standing in line for a time hoping we would get a seat and being grateful just for standing room; PP gets a text saying, “I have six tickets; if you want them meet me ASAP.” And we did. So we got seating for Processional!!! At he last minute! What an awesome experience. After that some of us were hungry so, joined by ferrotafros, we went to Plaza Inn and timed it just right to eat a wonderful dinner while watching fireworks. We did the Castle walkthrough (with lemis and your’s truly narrating) and MrToad before the Small World meet. After that folks split up but we wanted to close the Park with The Jungle Cruise. We were joined by Lulu and yekcim and close the Park we did. And on the way to JC we saw no line at all on Dumbo so we were able to fit that in. And the skipper on JC was one of my best ever. And now was the meet I had been counting down to for 624 DAYS!!! We ate a substantial breakfast and did not try to do Park time but went straight to the meet. Were expectations met??!!?? They were exceeded beyond my wildest dreams. A standing ovation for my best friend and Disneyland Clone Kathy as she received a much deserved Golden Doobie. Still wiping my puffy eyes when I received my own. Being riveted by Eddie Carroll and seeing everyone else riveted as well. Hearing Bob Gurr say my innermost feelings about the degradation of the Abraham Lincoln exhibit and hope for the return of its former dignity. Rod winning an autographed picture of Jiminy in the raffle. And then winning the Big Fig with my many LP buttons (thank goodness for that Club33 meet and the GD that put me over the top.) (If there were others with more who had no way to transport the monster; my hat is off to you. It is sitting with dignity in the middle of my Shrine.) http://www5.snapfish.com/slide...9203744/ We sadly missed the BTM meet as we had to lug the aforementioned monster back to our hotel. We rushed upstream through the Processional crowd to just get to the Billies a few minutes in. We Lpers have become quite the VIP’s as they invited us on stage for talk and photos. I think we took up half the audience. More hanging with friends and watching the fireworks from Small World for what we thought would be the last time. Monday: rain and cold and rain and cold and rain and cold and rain and cold and rain and cold and rain and cold and rain and cold and rain and cold and rain and cold and rain and cold and rain and cold and rain and cold and rain and cold and rain and cold and rain and cold and rain and cold and rain and cold and rain and cold and rain and cold and no electricity in Fantasyland. This is where my Disneyland nurdiness truly showed its face. I was in heaven. Trotting around like a little kid loving the quiet and lack of other bodies. Then the day turned even better as we ran into the Clones at Billy Hill. It was off to Big Thunder (oh wait, we never got there) and doing what Clones do best. Getting in maximum rideage. Oh yes. And getting a super big hug from one of our favorite CM’s in Inoventions. Tuesday: Just when I thought things could get no better......... We had a wonderful Minnie and Friends breakfast. The Clones, celebrating our third anniversary, joined by Tinkmobile and friend and yekcim. Where darling yeckim just mentions that she has scored seats on the Lillebelle for up to 7. I must insert here that our little East Coast friend had absolutely no clue why this was so special. There were then pictures with Santa and Mickey and a few attractions and our ride where, by coincidence, we were joined on the Lillebelle by another group of Lpers. It was so special. We ran out the day with the Park closing at 6PM. Saw my beloved Christmas fireworks one more time. Then over to DCA for some much needed ribs (so yummy) and hot cocoa. We got to chat briefly with Jazzcat and AGG but we were headed in opposite directions. Then a talk with Crush where I was able to inform him that the Eddie Aikau meet was being held at Waimea with 50 foot swells. The look on his face was a riot. There were hugs all around and some sad good-byes. Then, back to our hotel to pack( We took the morning easy and took the Monorail entrance in. There was virtually no line at Nemo so we did that. Same with Space and Buzz. We felt we needed one more go on HMH. Then we did our shopping and headed out. The trip home was good. As a special treat we ran into Tinkmobile and friend at the Outlet store for another good-bye. A stop at our favorite Sizzler in Visalia and we were on our way to meet our doggies who greeted us with jumps and barks and licks. Could just be the *Best Trip Ever!*
