At the time I thought it was one of WDW's very best restaurants, and I haven't heard anything recently to indicate otherwise. I had the "Signature" Potato-wrapped Red Snapper and it was outstanding. The menu at Deb Will's site shows the Red Snapper has now been paired with a Char-crusted Angus NY Strip Steak ($47). Flying Fish used to be one of WDW's most expensive restaurants, but Epcot's table service places have increased their prices so much that it is now no more expensive than Le Cellier and in my opinion offers a far better value.

When I was there service could be either as prompt or as leisurely as you wanted. I'm afraid that now with the increased popularity of the DDP they would try to turn the tables over more quickly as they do at most of table service restaurants. You used to be able to spend a couple of hours there if you wanted... I'm not sure that would be the case any longer.

The dining room is not real large, but it is open and can be a little noisy. You will never feel "crammed in" though like you do at Le Cellier.

The only strange thing for us what that you exited the restaurant and go through the sweet shop next door to access the restrooms.
