British Invasion and Off Kilter still first rate entertainment.

Saw a U2 cover band first nite there - not bad @ all

Soarin - had to do FP and stand by lines were nasty....

Lines for TT were also long all week - I believe single rider line causes some of this issue. What they were doing with this when I was there was they took 25-30 single rider people and put them in the same pre movie and therefore if 'planned ' right - you could still ride with who you wanted- after a few trips you could tell some have figured that out.

? - why is universe of energy not open in EMH ?

SSE re do is tremendous - really like it- even the hokey screen stuff @ the end ( liked the picture it took then placed on screen there and in after ride). Speaking of which - kudos to Siemens for springing cash for this-- having the whole after ride experience again was a class act

got newbie to try Beverly - same reaction as most

Living Seas a lot of fun again..nice job.

Fireworks show is the best anywhere - period

Ate at Biegarten for one dinner - I really like the place- and @ Coral Reef for the first time in years for lunch. Food was very good but even for lunch pricier than most...Lobster Ravioli was good but scant for $25

Highlight for the young kids in our group was the Kim Possible challenge -- they really had a blast with it which gave me time for a frozen Grey Goose slushie @ France. Really cute concept and a lot of kids playing.

The Sieans post show looks great, indeed it is those little touches that really do add credibility to Future World.

Glad you enjoyed the anglo style bands. They are good, but I am a huge Mo' Rockin and Taiko Drum fan, as well as loving the CHinese Acrobats. Goes to prove there is something for every one at World Showcase.

Beverly is funny. My MIL ruined it. I was hoping she would do the usual. Instead, she loved it and drank 3 of them. No fun.

Gotta love Illuminations, no doubt. Best current show put on by Disney anywhere (though Remember for DL's 50th was slightly better IMHO). But Illuminations came a very close 2nd. Wonderful music and effects. Thank goodness they did not pull a F! on this one of 3 nights a week.

I would guess because it's such a high capacity attraction with a long wait between shows that it simply wouldn't fill up much at all with the park so (relatively) sparsely occupied?

***What they were doing with this when I was there was they took 25-30 single rider people and put them in the same pre movie***

Not smart at all, they should know better...it's pretty obvious that some will try to abuse the system when they make it this easy.

The single rider folks should be admitted in dribs and drabs along with the rest of the folks pouring in, ideally one at a time, and it should be made clear from the outset that there will be *no* chance to ride together with a person of their choice (duh...that's what *single* rider means right!?).

I think that would fix the problem post haste.

Where was the U2 coverband playing VBDAD?

I enjoy it too, except for the very ending. I wish they'd stopped at the end of the new Canada song, instead of limping out on those lame Martin Short jokes about turning left at Spaceship Earth and walking 1200 miles, and then how do I get out of here. They had a chance to have a big finish, but they went for cute instead, which I think was a mistake.

Every time I've done single rider on TT they've always used the 3rd room (the one closest to the lines) as the single rider room. It exits to a separate queue from the other rooms, and you are then indeed treated as single riders, and separated from your groups. Is this not the way they did it for you?

    >Living Seas a lot of fun again..nice job.<

My biggest quibble with the new version is that they did away with the hydrolators. It used to be a cool transition from the "surface" that just isn't there any more. But my favorite part of the new stuff is in the queue, with the schools of little blue fish that slowly make shapes appear. Really wonderful, fun animation - I could stand there for quite awhile and just enjoy their hard work!

Mo' Rockin just has never worked for me. The music is OK, but there doesn't seem to be much joy in their playing. It doesn't look like they're having nearly the fun that Off Kilter has. But maybe that's just a cultural thing.

It would have to be a CS meal for a table dance.
