I dont think there is an official timeline yet but the last I heard/read online the current schedule is(someone correct me if I'm wrong):

2008 - TSMM (obviously), pier construction

2009 - continued pier construction, Entry, TLM and Cars begin construction late in the year.

Early 2010 - New PP area, including WOC, beer garden, and various attraction upgrades and removals. Also, supposedly new additions to the mother park for DL's 55th and DVC/GCH expansion will open as well. Entry/TLM/Cars work continues.

2011 - New Entry and TLM open, possible new nighttime parade. Cars work continues. DLH renovation complete.

    2012 - Carsland

My question to bean or any other disney insiders on this board is: does this jibe with what you've heard or know ?

"What about the DL Hotel makeover?"

<<Sometime before the end of spring the company should come out and finally reveal the "Extreme Makeover" plans for the Disneyland Hotel. Expect some artwork and a presentation along the lines of what we saw for the Grand Californian expansion a while back. Work should commence on one of the towers by the middle of summer should the current schedule be kept. That means the first tower will probably be finished near the holiday season or a little after it. Come this time next year one of the towers should give us an idea of what to expect since all three are supposed have a uniform theme when they are done in time for DCA's Tenth Anniversary.>>

I do however think finally they settled on the WOC date, it makes sense to have it done with the rest of the pier and the new GCH/DVC rooftop viewing area. Also now marketing can unfortunately force it into the 55th advertising even though I think it deserves to be marketed on its own. I also thought it should open by next year. But I regress.

DCA will most likely offer two showings of WOC when the park stays open later and during seasonal times. The night parade would then be sandwiched between showings.
