In the fine print it says you have to spring the 11 bucks to park the car the first day you come in to process your printed ticket into your wallet sized PAP! BULL-(YOU KNOW WHAT!) If it shows you payed for a PAP (WITH PARKING INCLUDING) Disney should honor that by showing your printed E Ticket from your computer. Shisters! They're always trying to find another buck out of their customers .. as if 360 bucks is nothing. Park in DtD's parking lot which is free for 3 hours .... pick up the Monorail (You can use your printed ticket as a means to enter into the park here) ... Make your way into the AP processing center .... And then leave the park ... have a nice walk through DtD .. back to your car ... and drive out .. and drive back in to Mickey and Friends parking structure (just make a u-turn at Ball Rd.). This time .. you now have your PAP with parking INCLUDED! BINGO .. YOU'RE IN. No extra 11 bucks out the door that you don't have to spend! Bad policy there on Disney's part!

I made my online purchase for my PAP just last weekend .. and the day the subs grand opened .. was when I made way into DL via the Monorail at DtD station.

The CM scans the barcode at the turnstile and prints out the Annual Pass voucher (or ParkHopper depending on what you buy). You then take that voucher to the Bank of Main Street for processing.

It has to be a BRAND PURCHASE, as if you've never had an AP before. When I tried, I kept getting the PDF file for renewal .. until I figured how to do my "renewal" online. I know it's been a few weeks, and Shmitty has already done it ... but this note is for anyone else interested. But one of the features I love, is the DtD Monorail station works like a "first entry" gate too ... and entering with my printed E-Ticket there was a breaze.

I'm guessing you'd have to go with a Premium AP, which doesn't have any black-out dates in the first place. I don't know who sells parkhoppers for longer than 5-days other than Disney themselves. Emailing Howard Johnson's would be your best bet at getting an answer to whether they carry them and the price. Their manager's name is Willie and he's really great! william.simpson@hojoanaheim.com If you go with parkhoppers and decide to upgrade them, do so on the last day that is blocked out. You can use your new AP on a block-out day. The parkhopper must be upgraded while still valid for entry. Take your parkhopper to the bank on Main Street. Simply walk up to the window with it and they will take care of you.

Make sure you don't upgrade until you have made your last entrance into Disneyland that day, as you might have problems re-entering after you upgrade, and the last thing you want to have on New Year's Eve is a problem. So you could also upgrade on January 1st. The upgrade basic rules are first, avoid blockout days and then to make sure you used your Early Entry day prior to upgrading. Once you upgrade, you will get 10% off most food purchases in the parks and the hotel restaurants, along with selected Downtown Disney with a Deluxe AP, so you want to upgrade by the 1st.
