I asked for something in the DL area; this seems a little far to me. If you have stayed here, were you happy with it? Would you recommend it? Was it far from DL? How about the shuttle to DL- on time, sufficient trips there & back throughout the day? Any & all input is greatly appreciated- thank you!!! dllovinrn

Bathroom was sparkling clean and well-appointed, with more than enough towels for me, my husband, and our 8 year old boy. The shuttles to and from the park were very convenient (and free), but there was a parking fee for our car ($12). Still, would definitely stay there again.

And they're not part of the ART, which is a big plus in my book. Cookies are great. They'll even give you cookies every night if you ask. Great value on priceline.com. I think we've had it for $40-50 per night. Enjoy your stay!

If I am remembering correctly, they have a concierge service, so I would definitely ask for them. They will never steer you wrong. When we stayed there last they gave us perfect directions to the nearest In'n Out (which is a few miles southeast from there...kind of a scary tiny one but the food was still good...) I feel your excitement! I get the same exact way! By the way if you are an RN (seeing your name) thank you! I cannot tell you the number of times nurses have made a huge difference in my life.

Originally Posted By dllovinrn Thanks again, everyone- I am much assured about our "choice" (Priceline's choice!) of where to stay for this trip. I will call as it gets closer & get more info on the shuttle, etc. Our first stop will be Las Vegas- we've never been- in fact it was to be our only stop, but we couldn't get very excited about it. Then we realized how close DL is to LV & suddnely we were VERY excited to plan! We've been to DL every 6 mos. lately, guess we figured we'd done it enough. Clearly that isn't the case! We just about decided not do Vegas at all & just do DL again... Faline, thank you so much for your thank you- I'm so glad you have had positve experiences with nurses. You must have been a terrific patient, too! As for me, nursing has been a rewarding life-path. Some of the most wonderful, unforgettable people I have ever met have been my patients. Thanks again & have a great day!!

Originally Posted By dllovinrn Hello again- we are back from our trip, and let me say, this hotel did not disappoint! I am SO glad we stayed here! It was a "bit" further than I wanted to be from DL but in the end, it all turned out better than expected& we actually had very little transportation time compared to other places we've stayed-even Paradise Pier! The hotel is clean & comfy, the staff was superlative, and the dedicated shuttle was great! The shuttle driver, Rhea, overheard us saying we were there for our anniversary & had a card, chocolate-covered strawberries & champagne sent to our room!! It was wonderful not having to pay to park @ DL, walk back & forth, rely on ART, or use a shuttle that services multiple hotels. The only complaint, which is minor, is that the hotel didn't take into account Magic Morning early entry times, & the last pick-up is 15 minutes after the park "closes"...but what about those who want to shop in the park for that extra hour or stop @ Downtown DIsney for a bit? We just cabbed it for those times, reasoning that we had saved so much w/Priceline. I would definitely recommend this Hotel to everyone- I was so impressed with the accomodating staff, ease of transportation & quality of the hotel.
