The 2-year-old will most certainly be strapped and mounted to a stroller for her and your own safety. If she is loose, she might get trampled by the Spring Breakers. Also, she may bite your knees. So if you're going to be at the Magic Kingdom on April 7, please sport a pair of shin gaurds and watch out for the Thompson stroller. You have been warned.

At the studios, they'll get to see E.T., Woody Woodpecker's coaster, Animal Actors and a few other areas. The 2-year-old is much into Dora the Explorer. We'll look around for her. (Anybody know if the Simpsons Ride is ready yet?) We don't plan to spend all day at either of these parks. Nap time is still relevant. The pool will be at least 1/3 of the vacation.

But when I was there, the paths were downright pleasant, even during the insanity of spring break. Was it always like this? Am I confusing WDW with Disneyland?

It was for my daughters 5th birthday, and we did the Mary Poppins tea. We also had a 9 month old in a stroller. When you have little ones like that you have to take luggage (dispar bags, bottles, soft side coolers, bags for sunscreen and such, and the kitchen sink) with you everyhere you go. But I can tell you that watching your 4.5yr old son discover it all including Uni. is an experience only a parent can understand. Its sort of what life's really all about. That kind of joy is what our kids give back to us. And remember, the Unofficial Guide says, that when polled, the kids favorite part of the WDW vacation was the hotel pool.

I have to say that both of those left a surprising impact on my life as a kid, so it's definately about the little random things in life! : )
