I personally think I should be able to tip on my own......

What's the difference if a table for 9 or 3 tables for 3.

I don't know what Disney pays its servers, but do your friends realize that generally speaking, servers are paid much less than the minimum wage, and rely on tips to make up the difference? While they can't be forced to tip, unless service was truly bad, not tipping is rude, IMO.

    <<We will be a party of 9.>>

Many restaurants, Disney included, automatically add a gratuity for parties of six or more.

Which is .50 an hour. Though I know that you don't want to cover their tip, and that I totally do understand you should try to explain that to them in the nicest way.

and for a person like me. i try very hard to please. put pitures of drinks for refills. stuff like that.. and no tip.. its horable to work like that for just min wage. not that people even THINK about how much you are being waited on as in full service. even in some so called fast food places. if im running for you the same as a normal place. why no tip.
