    8 homes were lost in corona so far. The fire has moved out towards Yorba Linda and Anaheim. Unfortunately, the winds are very high right now. Many of my friends have been evacuated and are having trouble getting out of their neighborhood. I will keep you guys updated.

    Tiggirl, I don't know where in Corona you live, but I hope you are further away from it than I am.

    We are in Newport and we can see the smoke coming. My parents are in Santa Clarita and are watching where the fire goes from the Newhall Pass, sadly, it's that time of year again. It doesn't seem like an Autumn season until we have some raging fires. I'm saying prayers for everyone including a friend's mother who lost her home early this morning in Sylmar.

    Pray for those firefighters! It sounds like a big mess in the Corona area... flames overcame a fire truck sending 2 firefighters to the hospital. Thankfully only minor injuries though.

    Air quality is a serious problem as well, grandparents who already have breathing problems suffer from this even though they aren't in immediate danger. If you have bad asthma like my husband, fires make it for a rough day to leave the house. I can't imagine having to leave my home with all of my belongings either. I'm a wreck right now of emotions for my family in Sylmar and Santa Clarita and my friend in Yorba Linda.

    Freeways are absoluetly horrible also. the 91 and the 57 has been shut down. It's looking like I won't be able to get to Disneyland for my shift tonight. I'm hoping the winds don't shift as well. My house is within 2 miles of the flames!
