They play the music in the lounge and you can see the fireworks from there. You would not be able to see the projections on the castle though. We were only there one night while the fireworks were on, and we had reservations for the 10:30 fantasmic show that night. We were advised by the concierge people not to try to see the fireworks at all, as it would be to hard to make it to the balcony from the hub afterwards. I don't know if that was really true, it may have been possible to do both. But. the crowds were so overwhelming to me, and the booming of the fireworks so loud, even from where we were just hanging out around the Haunted Mansion, French Market area waiting to check in for Fantasmic, that I think I would have enjoyed the evening more if I had just stayed at the hotel and watched them from there!! Of course I am a morning person, and had been getting up super early all week, so even with naps in the afternoon 10:30 was pretty late for me to be out dealing with crowds. We had a good time, but I think that watching them from the concierge level would have been a nice, hassle free way to see them, even if it's not the perfect view. Sorry for rambling.

I think I should have booked the earlier show, but I was trying to see both the fireworks and fantasmic, so I did the later one. I think the priority seating for Alladin etc. is the same for AAA, WDTC, etc. and concierge. Hope I'm not wrong about that, because I booked through the concierge for Priority seating at Alladin for the 2:00 show, then ended up watching the 12:30 with my priority seating tabs from my WDTC package. Wonder if I missed out on something? But the seats were great nonetheless and the show great. I think the best perk about DL Hotel concierge for us was the express elevator, always empty when we were coming and going, and as a bit of a recluse that was a nice time not to be smashed together with people. We were on the same floor as the concierge lounge, so it was nice to stop by for breakfast, snacks, etc. Breakfast was a little minimal, nothing warm, just cereal, fruit, bagels to toast, danishes, croissants, and muffins. Snacks during the day were chips and salsa, brownies, and cookies. Appetizers at dinner included one hot thing a day, very nice chicken samosas the first day, ok chicken empenadas the next, somewhat strange goat cheese wontons the third, crackers, cheese and crudite, with the same desserts. We were a little dissapointed in the beer and wine availability; we stayed at a hotel in another city recently and got their equivalent of concierge level for much less money. they had beer available, imported, all day in the fridge, where as at the DLH only domestic and served in a glass so you couldn't take it back to your room and save it for later. Sounds a little silly I know, but my fiance really would have enjoyed a bottle of beer in our lovely room after returning late at night. Next time I would bring our own and keep in in the fridge. We borrowed a movie one night, but never watched it, sort of a small selection and no really big name Disney movies, no Cinderella or Snow White or Peter Pan, more like Pete's Dragon and Alladin 2. I would bring my own DVD's next time. All in all, though, despite how picky I'm being right now, I liked the whole concierge experience. I am sort of used to staying in really nice hotels, and the DL hotel, I think because of all the families with kids there, sometimes has a little trouble keeping their standards high. Being on concierge level brought the level of the hotel up a notch. I think housekeeping was excellent and the concierge staff was very helpfull in getting priority seating reservations for restaurants. I don't know if you would get the same service in a regular rate room, maybe you would. But staying in concierge does seem to minimize your contact with tons of people everyday, not to a huge extent, seeing as you're at Disneyland, but enough to make a difference to someone like me who sometimes has some trouble with too many people in a day. Hope that makes sense and helps!

The premium viewing in that one is for any parade. I was told the directions come with the voucher of where to go for the viewing. They did not know if there was actually seating or just a special roped off area.

    Hope that helps.
