We had been trying to plan a day, but it is hard to know nothing will come up... and we'll end up paying anyway...

The few times we have been lucky enough to go we have paid after the meal.

I'm not sure about the 2 day cancellation? Others will chime in :)

But, I'm made and cancelled plenty of reservations and have not been billed. I do give more that two days notice, though. It just doesn't seem right not to since it is so hard to get in for a prime time and day. I usually cancel a week or so, if plans change and I can't make it.
