Simply stunning and excellent 3D imagery. Much better than 3D images presented in the Disney park theaters. http://www.wowvx.com/ http://www.business-sites.phil ips.com/3dsolutions/Products/3DScreens/Index.html (of course you can't see this content without the Phillips 3D flat screens.)

I mean, how many of those Philips screens would you need to set side by side in order to take up the width of the Star Speeder's windshield? 16? 24? The windshield starts looking a whole lot less "windshieldy" with all those divisions. Plus, Disney tends to dip their toe in a pool of new technology first, and then spread it around. Jose becomes Mr. Lincoln becomes Pirates. Turtle Talk becomes Roz, becomes Mr. Potato Head. If Disney was really keen on this 3D without glasses stuff, why wouldn't we at least see a nifty 3D display at innoventions? Wouldn't the new Spaceship Earth post-show use some variation of this display? Don't look now, but Toy Story Mania will require glasses. Now, I understand, maybe WDI is deliberately holding off on Star Tours 2.0 a bit more, so that no-glasses-required technology matures to a point where it will be sufficient for Lucas's high standards. And it would be a shame to open up a new 3D Star Tours with glasses, only to have 3D glasses become a thing of the past 5 years later. So maybe ST2.0 will be glasses free. But if so, I wouldn't expect it until 2012 at the earliest.
