Rather than a large, digital board as it used to be it's a large computer screen (or perhaps multiple screens) which allows for much more flexibility. The only downside is you have to walk up to it to see wait times and FastPass availability (the old board was so large the info could be seen from a distance). One interesting thing ... there was some items on the Twitter feed that I wouldn't normally expect to see on a Disney info board. I can't imagine Disney doesn't monitor it, but I still found one of the tweets (which I snapped a picture of), not particularly Disney like.</p>

Tweeting to a public board at EPCOT that you're drunk while having a conversation about statistics isn't that offensive is it?

Or perhaps Disney is simply being generous and isn't as concerned about this stuff as you think they are. The bigger worry for management would be people purposely sending inappropriate or offensive messages. Texting that you like a competitor's product in an open forum, specifically where technology is being showcased, seems in line with the spirit of EPCOT to me.

Whereas a guest could see the information board, clearly, from 40 yards away, now they have to walk right up. Silly. All in the name of technology for technology's sake. The twitter is even more banal. I think if used right it would be a great repurposing of the original EPCOT Center polls, however the way it is setup now they might as well put up the Disney Parks Blog on it.
