The others though, like Circuit City, should not be able to sell ANY gift card of any kind. The future is not too bright for them. This really bothers me that a consumer can buy a gift card for a friend or relative only to be embarrassed a month later when that recipient cannot even benefit from the gift. Right now their stores are offering remaining inventory at 60% off (at least in Torrance, CA) and as of two days ago they were still accepting gift cards as payment. Have her buy a nice piece of jewerly or something that she can keep as an investment.
