The place was fully booked which my friend understood but when he asked if he could wait to see if a table opened up, the CM told him NO, we wont have any openings at all. He persisted with...Well what if someone cancels? Can I just wait. The hostess said...I told you NO!

(our time in CA) I was on hold for about half an hour, then had to hurry and get ready for work. I forgot about Akershues in my rush and excitment to get 1900 park fare(I didn't think I would get it.) so I called on my lunch break and was only on hold for 1 min. and got it for breakfast at 8:05am. I would keep trying someone may cancel or ask them what is available at your desired time. Good luck!

We got ressies at Hollywood & Vine, Cape May Cafe character breakfast, Boma for dinner, Liberty Tree Tavern and Spoodles. I had to take a 7:45 for Cape May - wanted a little later, but we'll just get up a little earlier. I was on hold for abou 3 minutes. The CM was nice, explained it was a new system - it did take longer than in the past. The CM did say that they new system is "picky" - if you don't do everything exactly rigth it will return no avails. Overall a good experience. Oh yeah, the one we couldn't get was Sci-Fi Drive In - BUT we are going on Star Wars weekend, and it's a Sci-Fi place, so I'm not surprised! I should have called at 90 days

Here's my thought...will they put a systme in place to keep people from overbooking? Say someone isn't sure which place they want to eat at, so they make ressies at 2 or even 3 places for the same night, eating up the avails? Hopefully they'll think of this and put in system in place to prevent it. That would be my only concern. Well along with the "will they have a server/system that can handle the traffic"? Anyone ever try to book the DL Candlelight Procession in their wonderful online system? Two years ago when I did it, the system crashed before tickets even went on sale - and CMs were calling people who had gotten to a certain screen where you could enter your name and number - crazy!
