The prognosis these days have improved, but disability and low immune systems for life are very common in such premature babies. I was born at 30 weeks, with the placenta in front of me and the chord around my neck, I was intovated and in ICU for quite a bit of my early years, and fight a low immune system now as well as having non progressive cerebral palsy. But other than that, things have been fine. Others are more lucky and others are less. But that was 37 years ago and things have improved. But I would be inclined not to give false hope, simply to say that science has improved greatly as have survival rates. As long as the medical pracs are engauged throughout, it should help. Doug, I am so sorry to hear the all clear has not been given. Please give our love to Jamie, and we keep you all in our positive thoughts. Big hugs to you as well my friend. Take care. How are the kids' doing with their mom being poorly?

I'm hoping and praying for the best (yeah, I do pray sometimes...particularly when loved ones and kids are concerned!). No more updates as of yet...hopefully that means she's in the middle of taking care of the babies with the full help of the docs and nurses! IF I hear any updates from her, I'll let you all know (keep praying).
