Does anyone have any suggestions for attractions that may appeal to a 5 1/2, 6 1/2 and 10 year old?

While at city hall you can ask for honorary citizen stickers for the kids to wear, and also, if you like, class sets for the older kids to take back for souvenirs.. they are free and kids really like them :)

My kids also enjoy things at DLR that are not rides. I always schedule some unstructure playtime for them. For example, hanging out at TSI, Redwood Challenge, swimming at the hotel pool, spending hours (!) in the Animation Studio, etc. One time we were walking to a ride when the marching band passed by. My girls decided to march along with them--it was so fun! We ended up on the Mark Twain; the conductor let my girls 'lead' the band in a couple of songs. One of my favorite memories!

So bottom line is to allow for some sponteniety during the trip! You cannot go wrong in DL!

DCA= Disney's California Adventure. A 2nd park Disney opened directly across from Disneyland. Your hopper ticket will allow you to "jump" back and forth to both parks throughout the day.

Since you are going to be there so many days, I would check into having groceries delivered to your hotel from Safeway.com. Of course it depends on which hotel you're staying at and if they will accept those kinds of deliveries. If you can do, you will save a bundle on bringing in your own bottles of water and breakfast for the mornings. We packed in PB&J's for the kids for lunch and that saved us from having to buy lunches for them that they would only eat half of anyway!

That cookie baking thing is something that is sponsored by Nestle. The kids get to add ingredients to their own bowls, then the chef has them close their eyes and fresh baked cookies "magically" appear! It's not something that is listed as a regular show so you never know what time it's going on. I recall seeing it at a restaurant somewhere around the center Hub area. Maybe you can ask at City Hall to get more details on it.

    It worked out great.
They deliver to the bell desk, then they bring it to your room.
Use promo code SWEET for free delivery on a $50 or more order. Expires 10/31/06

We ordered breakfast items, sandwich makings, drinks and snacks. It adds up quickly but saved us big$ on a daily basis. Made the Blue Bayou splurge not seem so bad.
