I looked on their website and they don't show any of the merchandise.

It would be wonderful if DLR had a shuttle to take you over there, but that's wishful thinking!

We decided not to rent a car since we're not really going anywhere else during our stay. Except of course for the Character Warehouse!

It's defnitiely hit or miss and I wouldn't expect to find anything current.. but they do sell stuff at a discount like 20- 50% (50% might be more rare though honestly!) The character warehouse is a business not run by the parks so they are trying make money just like Disney.. so it's not a DEEP DEEP discount sort of thing.. =) Still if you've never been you never know what you might find.

There is often good stuff there. Twice I've picked up a nice DL Fleece Pullover for $19.99. And cute baby clothes! I'd make the trip....

My niece is meeting us for one day at DL(cutting class at college)so maybe we'll ask her to drive us over.

I think we'll check it out, like smeeko said "to buy stuff for the people back home" I read on another website that you can get a character mug for $3 that sells in the park for $10.
I hope we hit it right!

Thanks seanyoda, you just made my day.

I agree, FiveBearRugs, I wish there were more character outlets in the Bay Area.
I checked the AMS website and the one closest to me closed already.

A lot of childrens sleepwear, girls, womens sizes covers 2/3rds of the clothing here. Sweatshirts, men's polo style shirts, t-shirts usually in S-M sizes, some L, raely do I find XL and above.

Sorry your coupon was your only winnings in LV.
On the AMS website they have a printable coupon for 10% off.
But 20% is pretty good! Just spend a lot and you'll feel like you got your moneys worth. :)
We'll be at DL 9/25-9/29 at the DLH, when will you be there?
Maybe you can hitch a ride with us to the outlet if you're there at the same time.

When we go in Dec. we (I!) get great things for the summer and when we go in the summer we get all of the winter items cheap. For instance, one Dec we were in DL and everyone had thsi awesom Christmas tree hats on with charcters for ornaments and lights that twinkled. I thought they were adorable, but $30 was a lot to spend on a hat I would never were anywhere but DL. When we went back in the summer they were $5 at the charcter warehouse. (I still didn't buy it b/c it was summer!) My last trip they had DL keychains with names on them 10/$3.00. That was a great gift for coworkers and friends and nobody needs to know they cost 30 cents! lol

I saw a display of those last time I was there, but all the most popular names were already gone. It's really hit and miss.

I have a Mickey Mouse fleece that I got for 9 or 10 bucks. It's comfy and big and a really ugly bright orange color, which is why I guess it hadn't sold earlier. :)

No problem. I would have hated it if you missed out on a deal.

In September is it usually still pretty hot in Anaheim?
Hopefully we won't be buying sweatshirts there when it's 90 degrees out.

Lucky you, to live so close to DL!

Actually, that's one of the fun things about this store. It's the kind of place that always has things during the wrong season. You can get really good deals on summer clothing there during the winter, and on winter clothing during the summer. Just throw it in the closet for 6 months and you're all set!

I spent less then $40.00 with my 10% off coupon.

I went to In N Out..YUM... had my regular double double animal style, choclate/vanilla shake.

Went to food4less got my three boxes of Cocoa Krispes (we cann't get these in Canada and I am addicted to them), jug of tequila and $20.00 wine that we spend 40 something for in Canada. Safari1 got some very nice wine and had her first experience at In N Out.

the cab was 15 each way tip included and very well worth it.
