I am the father of three super kids, whom I love very much, The oldest is a skateboarder, that is better now than I ever was. My other son is a rock star, who I listen to every night, behind his closed door( as he rages about the world to music)and my baby girl is a dancer who seems to fly when she is on point. I am the husband of a wonderfull lady, who puts up with all my "stuff", and for reasons beyond all my understanding, really does love me even after 19 years. And, I am about to embark on a month-long trip to Italy to participate in a cultural/professional exchange program. I also do a lot of meeting and event planning - fun stuff in Las Vegas! Love my work, but also am very much looking forward to retirement (it's my contention that we all began 'working' in Kindergarten - I'm just about ready to be "done." *L*) In my spare time I'm a music nut - just as my parents raised me and I love them for it. I have a quite extensive collection of Beatles music and memorabilia, but my tastes are varied. Though I enjoy music from all decades, I'm particularly fond of '60s music and certain songs put me right back into the backseat of my mom and dad's '56 Chevy as they drove around So. Cal. during my childhood. My favorite quotation is "Life without music would be a mistake." I don't know who said that first... I saw it on a T-shirt in a music catalog. I'm the proud wife of an extremely talented Strip casino dealer - he's one of VERY few who can deal pretty much every game (about 20 of 'em). And I'm "mom" to a sweet orange tabby kitty, "Vicky," and two adorable "boys" - Eddie and Cozmo, our Brittany Spaniel and Pointer-mix, respectively.

Boring work, great benefits, LOTS of leave & flex Fridays and time off, so I can't complain. Most importantly, I'm the mom to two great kids--Chad, who's 11, and Erin, who's 7. They are just really fun, well behaved, sweet kids. I couldn't be prouder. They're the lights of my life. I'm the wife to an amazing guy named Joe; we've been married almost 9 years. He makes me laugh like no one else and is truly my best friend. My husband coaches baseball and I coach cheerleading and am Secretary of the cheer association, so we're pretty busy with that stuff. I really enjoy my kids' activities and staying busy with everything they do. We do take a lot of little weekend trips, often with our friends, and we just generally like to have a good time. I have a really fulfilling life and am very grateful for what I've been given.

Have been working steadily for 27 years now, with only one break due to a layoff. (The company offered a relocation package, but I turned it down.) One of my software jobs from the '80's has fan clubs. Just google "ACARS". My software went on to almost every airline. If you had a computer in the early '90's, it probably had a hard drive from either IBM or Western Digital. I wrote the software for their servo-track writers. (Writing the servo-track is the last part of the manufacturing process of a hard drive before it goes to final testing.) I currently work at a company that makes satellite dishes. Not the little ones you use for your TV - the big 5 to 18 meter dishes, although we have done some smaller ones for aircraft and military. If you've seen satellite weather photos or satellite photos from the Iraq war, North Korea, etc., that's my software at work. Hobbies are pretty much computers and Disney.
