It has a long strap so I can carry it across my body. I love it becasue it is compact and perfect for just a camera, money, cards, cell, etc...

On average I take 100 pics per day (I know, I'm a little camera zealous, but who can blame me...its Disneyland!) and I am constantly scrounging around in the backpack which is inconvenient. I would like to find a nice medium padded case that I can just fit my camera, id/credit cards into, and room key. I don't need much in the parks!

Thanks in advance for any camera bag suggestions! ºoº

Every compartment zips (one outer pocket uses 2 plastic buckles - like on a fanny pack).

It holds the camera in the center section, plus I store my memory cards, extra batteries and a few other things. It is small and light, and I take it on all the rides. On the coasters, I sometimes just place the strap around my leg (I step into it), no worries about losing it.

As for my money, I prefer to keep that in one of my front pockets, one of the safest places to keep money (hard for pickpockets).

I think I will try the camera bag or the fanny pack. I have a FUJI Finepix 3500 so its hard to find a good case. I wish we had Wal-mart in Australia, it sounds fantastic.

I've made sure I've got enough memory to take 1000 photos for my 7 day stay at DL.

    Thanks for all your help!

The pocket zipped and had a velcro closure. The side had 2 mesh pockets. In one of them I kept a DL plastic bag in case I needed to protect the bag from water (Rain, slash mtn or grizzly river run)

In 10 days in CA, I used 2 1GB cards. I have almost 1800 pictures. I'll have to go through them to get rid of the blurry ones. They look ok on the small screen on the camera but once downloaded on the computer and put full size on a 19" monitor you can really see the blurr!

As for money, I kept my wallet in my front pocket.

Of course everyone is in a hurry so you feel rushed to close everything back up.

If I was behind you...I`d be pickin them up with you etc..

Thanks for taking the time to tell me all about your camera bag. That's great advice. Money is the front pocket is the way to go. Can that fall out if you go on rollercoaster I wander?

Sounds like you love photos just as much as me. I hope I don't have lots of blurry photos, it is so hard to tell on those small LCD screens.

    Thanks everyone! Love Tinks-lover

I carry a tiny, Mickey Mouse backpack/purse that holds my camera, sunglasses, lip balm, ibuprofen, etc. And the first stop on Main Street is always the Lockers... whether we have anything to put in it 1st a.m. or not. :)

Don't forget, you can also get FREE ibuprofen and aspirin at the Medical center off of Main Street. Don't ever buy it in the parks!! Also, one less thing you have to carry.

Gotta have it to 'tame' my lower back... I'd feel I were taking advantage if I took as much ibuprofen from Disneyland's supply as I sometimes need. :)

I've only had to take Tylenol once in the parks when I broke my foot. One day I forgot to take in my "travel" size bottle and after a couple of hours their Medical Center was my best friend!
