To some up, heaviest person in the center, try to keep the center of gravity there, lean together the direction you want to go, but don't lean too far. It looks like gentle coordinated leaning is the key here with weight away from the edges so the tire doesn't squish to the ground.

I have no way of knowing if this is correct, but this poster said she and friend were able to go much faster that way than by leaning.
Originally Posted By Dabob2 That would mean also that if you have two people where one is quite a bit heavier - say 250 lbs. sitting left of center and 150 lbs sitting right of center, that perhaps the tire is too weighted to the left and is "bottoming out," thus not moving very well. (Notice that with 3 people they do tell you the heaviest person should be IN the center). So with two, perhaps the heavier person should sit only slightly left or right of center, and the lighter person more towards the end, to balance better. Then scooch or lean accordingly when you want to move. It would make sense - but again, I haven't ridden, and won't for a while.

Leaning too far did "bottom" us out a couple of times, but when we did it right, which for us was more of a shift in weight AND leaning, we did FLY! I posted elsewhere that you need to find an open lane, which we did twice, and we did move fast.
