The Cheesecake Factory is suppose to open their fist Oregon store at Washington Square on Friday November 18th.

Is there any interest in having a meet at the Cheesecake Factory? Would people be interested in trying to go opening weekend? Or do you think it would be better to wait a couple of weeks and go as early in the day as possible, as has been recommended to me?

Gosh gdw. Have you talked to The Glittery One? Doesn't she have some sort of indirect clout with TCF? I would think we'd get an invite to the grand opening.

    ;-)

I would love to say I was there at the opening but with restaurants I think it may be wiser to wait a bit. Let'em hit their grove before we visit.

With this much advance planning I really should be able to go, so count me in.

    Opinions?

As far as anything else, if you are worried about crowds it would PROBABLY be less crowded at lunch. Perhaps we can ask GDW(ha, couldnt mispell an abbreviation) to ask his commander to ask her husband what the typical lunch crows is compared to dinner.

Hey PixieGlitter - can't your hubby designate you Cheesecake Factory's Ambassador to the Northwest and get the company to pay for your flight and limos for us or something? hahaha

MissCandice as far as driving conditions go it's a toss up. Most of the time I think it would be fine, you just never know when it might be icy in the morning.

So it sounds like the meet will be Friday December 10th at 11 AM. (That is if they actually open at 11.)
