Ice cream, Dole Whips, and the soup at Boudin's are what I have on my list thus far. Any hidden gems? I've eaten in a lot of the spots, but never had to pay attention to the soup category, really...

If that is what you had done, I can say that it becomes much easier to eat regular food after a short period of getting used to it, it probably only took me a week or two of practice. I eat mostly everything I did before I got the buildups, I just can't eat really hard foods like carrot sticks or almonds, which are no-nos for anyone with braces even if they don't have buildups. That said, if you are still only eating soup for your trip, the baked potato soup at Carnation Cafe is really good, and the tomato soup at Jolly Holiday Bakery is pretty decent too. The gumbo at Blue Bayou and Cafe Orleans is one of my favorite things to eat at the parks. I think most of the sit down restaurants have soup options. Also for breakfast you could probably do scrambled eggs just about anywhere, as those are pretty easy to eat.

Lunch was mac and cheese with tiny pieces of bacon, and dinner was mushy tatter tots, carrots, and bits of chicken. So, all may not be so bad by the time I go in two weeks.

At quick glance: ~ meatloaf @ French Market/Carnation Cafe ~ quiche at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe. ~ cheese enchiladas @ Rancho del Zocalo ~ pasta @ Redd Rockett's Pizza Port ~ braised short ribs @ wine country trattoria...if cooked correctly

Allears is good, but not always up to date. I had to hunt for some menus the other day that I KNEW existed, but couldn't find on there. I'm dreaming of the eggs and tamales breakfast at Flo's! YUM! We'll see what I can do with the meal at Ariel's - we're supposed to do character breakfast there one morning, and lunch at Blue Bayou the other day, but due to the way the trip was planned, I may skip one or both - not enough room in the reservations they made for all of us...

I have had my braces for over two years now, and I still brush my teeth about 4 times a day, and never leave home without my various tools to pick food out of my wires

Had jambalaya at BB, chicken as take out from Plaza Inn, a shake at Ghiradelli, Chicken tamale breakfast at Flo's, and a Dole whip! Only ate two meals outside the parks in two days - breakfast at Jazz Kitchen Express, and a sandwich at IHOP late Wednesday night, since we played until after the park closed and missed the food. *LOL*
