When it was replaced, it was replaced 3 inches too high. While Monorail purple was on its morning test run to test the intrusion system, it hit the canopy, doing damage to both the canopy and the monorail. It was not driver error as you insinuated in your original post.<<

As for requiring you to get off in DTD it depends on how busy the monorail is. And under Murphy's law last night the lights at the Tomorrorwland station would not turn on. They are on a timer. Disney understands the wait times and the Memorail Day weekend and is trying to get the work done, and approved by DOSH.
