Therefore currently only Monorail Red is running on the track, and is making round trips about every 15 minutes.

Expect the DtD Monorail station to be restricted in the morning to only Disney Hotel Guests. But that the Monorail should be open to all for the late morning, afternoon period, but with a wait.

Hopefully the Disneyland Maintenance crew can get Purple back to being allowed to run in the next few days.

You might think about walking instead of riding if you are showing up in the next few days...

I don't mind the morning trips to be restricted to hotel guests, as I am staying at the Grand starting on Monday night, but I'm not looking forward to longer wait times.

    >>Your information on the monorail incident is incorrect. It happened on the small straightaway over Autopia just after the sub lagoon. The canopy was removed overnight for some paintwork related to Subs. When it was replaced, it was replaced 3 inches too high. While Monorail purple was on its morning test run to test the intrusion system, it hit the canopy, doing damage to both the canopy and the monorail. It was not driver error as you insinuated in your original post.<<

WOW, now that is cutting tolerances close !

I am suprised with a piece of moving machinery that valuable that you design it to fly past stationary obstacles with only 3 inches to spare ! Doesn't sound like the best plan in the world....

And under Murphy's law last night the lights at the Tomorrorwland station would not turn on. They are on a timer. It took about 10-15 minutes to fix (reset?) so there was no delay.

They added a segment where the Sub Lagoon queue wil be placed, and forgot about the CURVE of the track, so the first train of the day, after the canopy was installed overnight, pretty much took out a lot of the lower area on the left side (looking at the front of the Monorail).

Disney understands the wait times and the Memorail Day weekend and is trying to get the work done, and approved by DOSH.
