In California, Disneyland park illuminated Sleeping Beauty Castle in Los Angeles Lakers colors to show support for its local team. </span></p>

    For a sec, though, I thought you were talking about the classic scheme of he top tower in blue and the rest in white.

    Very retro, and I miss it...sorta. =p

    SB Castle was illuminated Gold and Purple. Not a Laker Fan so I wouldn't not have noticed it if someone didn't tell me about it. But I think it's a nice idea.

    Castle looked pretty kewl (but truthfully blue n white is a pretty standard combination) and they kept it in those colors pretty much all the time I was there (instead it changing every few minutes) but I did ditch the park before Spectro (watched Wishes from the Poly beach)

    Took another look at the DLR SB Castle on Sunday. The gold doesn't come through well since the castle is painted pink. Oh well, good try. The base of the castle has purple lights shining on it to make it look more purple than blue/gray.

    ^ Yeah I could see that plus gold and purple are hard colors to light usually.. They should make the lakers change to better colors that shine on the castle...

    I still think its a cute idea :) and it did get me to the MK on my day off.. Course the Pina Colava drink at the Poly helped too...
