Does anyone know if we need an activated AP to get an AP discount at HoJo's?

I plan to purchase AP vouchers online prior to our trip but obviously won't have an activated AP when booking our room at HoJo's. Will we still be able to get an AP discount if we can show a voucher or activated AP at check-in? Or, will we need to go with the E-coupon discount the first trip?

    Thanks in advance! :)

You usually cannot check to see if the rate is available until 3months prior to your stay. To get the rate you either call Hojo Anaheim directly (in house reservations) or go to the Hojo Anaheim website & enter sd50 in the promo code. Enter your dates & if the price quoted is $54 your in luck.

I'll try contacting HoJo Anaheim and see what they have to say about AP discount. I see that AP rates have been released Jan-Mar 2008 but those will definitely be higher than HoJo if they are even available.

    Thanks for the info!

Then, after voucher is activated and I have my brand new AP I can stop by the desk and show them that.

    Will that work?

Thanks again! See you February 22!

Lorealle, I booked my HoJo Disney View room AP rate online last week so I'm all set for Feb. 22-27, 2008! :) Right now, it looks as if I'll be taking a cab from airport to HoJo. If so, I'm hoping I can leave my bags at HoJo while I head across to Disneyland to activate the AP voucher.

Ok, now I'm really done. ;-)

HoJo's has a nice secure luggage room close to their lobby. It's on the ground floor of the tower building. You won't have any problems with it, I'm sure!

BTW if you want to ask general questions about your stay, I find the address stay@hojoanaheim.com to be helpful. I try not to bug Willie too much as I know he has other things to do!

That will absolutely work! All you'll need to do is show your expired AP and your voucher, and that will be more than adequate!

You can absolutely store your luggage with us before you head over to the park! That's no trouble at all!

We look forward to seeing you soon! If there is anything else I can help you with, please feel free to email me at Lorealle.Bishop@hojoanaheim.com

I certainly do agree with you about not bugging Willie too much. I only emailed him because I was truly unsure about AP voucher procedure.

Lorealle, thanks for your email address! HoJo Anaheim certainly does know customer service!

    See you in 82 days.

Hows the new lobby coming along? The one that will allow you guys to offer the continental breakfast? :) I think I read on the website earlier this year it was still under construction, but the date may have been mid last year that it was last updated? I haven't been to the website for awhile though.

    DJ7K-

We have redone our lobby, but are not serving a continental breakfast. We have no plans to do that right now, but we do have small refrigerators in all of our rooms, and our Gift Shop does sell breakfast items like cereal, juice, fruit, milk, bagels, cream cheese, etc.

    Hope this has been helpful!

You guys still have one of the nicest places in that area.
