I would love a ticketing system for fireworks. It is so freakin horrible trying to get a spot for parades or fireworks, it makes the whole thing stressful. It's one of my kids favorite things to do at the parks, but I had to finally give up trying to see the Christmas parade or fireworks. It was a living nightmare! We finally thought we got a spot one night and the fireworks started and they were all behind a tree and we couldn't see a thing, lol.

And, these inconsiderate louts don't seem to care that they are blocking the view and enjoyment of the show for everyone behind them. As long as their little Susie or little Johnnie can see, the heck with everyone else. Another symptom of the "Castle-centric" fireworks shows. As for New Year's Eve, they should go back to doing it as an evening hard ticket event like they did many years ago. They could make a fortune, and, they could limit ticket sales to keep the crowds at a more comfortable level. I think the last year that I went on NYE was 1999. It was really bad crowd-wise then. I shudder to think what it is like now. At my "advancing age", I'm so over having to be there to welcome in the new year.
