Both parks were really clean for the news journalists.Oh well I had fun.I like DCA.

His head will be floating in the middle of a cauldron. He'll be part of Morva's version of DCA--which stands for Demon's Cauldron Atrocities. ORDDU: And after everyone becomes exhausted from over-indulging in THESE little treats, we're all having a sleep-over with Michale Eisner in mind--where we all swap stories about what led to his downfall, along with how it's tough to be a bed-bug.

Ah, yes, I remember the days, way back then, when you didn't know what "that smell" in DCA was yet, Soap Opera Bistro was open for meals not Disney's Playhouse or whatever they call it now, Superstar Limo wasn't Monsters, Inc. and the Eureka Parade was something "new, hip and edgy"!! We went to the special event for DCA on 1-19, that included the scavenger hunt, panel discussion, watching Steps in Time (version 1.0), and riding all those fun new rides, before they added all the kiddie stuff, as well as a food voucher for dinner. Dinner at the Vineyard Room was amazing, with great wines, thanks to Robert Mondavi's sponsorship. Wolfgang Puck's people made great food at the Avalon Cove (now Ariel's Grotto with bad food and character interactions) and the wall by Hollywood and Dine (open for business!) was a really amazing space age mural, not a plain brown wall, like it is now. So glad we have photos of all the DCA things that used to be. We can visit the original DCA whenever we want!!

My dad has always loved space and flight and the theming of Soarin' hits home for us, since we aren't too far from the High Desert area that Condor Flats is based. The hallway with all the hall of fame flyers and the music thrilled us as we anticipated the flight. We strapped ourselves in not knowing a thing except everyone in WDI was giddy over it and next thing we knew, we were flying over SanFran! After the experience, he said it was his all-time favorite Disney ride and it is mine also. I have the music for it on my iPod and I get a thrill out of it each time I fly up there, just taking in the scenery (something hardly seen as clearly in the LA area). That is my favorite DCA memory.
