For how well done the caves are throughout the rest of the mountain, it's always amazing to me how shoddy that part looks, especially since it's a pretty easy solution. It's so dark in there that they literally just need to put any generic ceiling on top of the mesh. That would make it darker (even with the interior lights on), but leave enough 'shape' from the wire mesh so that the lights from Harold's eyes still make it look like a cave. Simple solution to a problem that has bugged me for years.
