There were lots of character interaction with Tigger, Eeyore, Wendy, Chip n Dale, Minnie, Fairy God Mother, & Max. We had no problem attracting characters, the secret, sit and wait. Each character made it to each table and spent a good bit of time with each one. There were quite a few impatient parents which was sad to see. One granny took off to the other side of the room and returned clutching Minnie’s hand tightly. She would chase them down and before one character was done she would drag another to the table. Yeesh! The Characters were very patient with her. Kudos to them! Finally a CM escorting the characters firmly told people to please sit down and enjoy their breakfast, the characters will come to their table. This worked for about 5 min. people were so rude! They would rush a character upon their entrance making it impossible for people and other characters to get by. It wasn’t the kids but the adults! We started doing play by plays, “Tigger makes his way to the dining area, UH OH, who’s this? Racing in from the far table to interfere is, “here by herself with 5 kidsâ€, mom. Wild Granny gets into position to highjack the character for her grandson who is fast asleep clutching a mickey waffle. Tigger attempts to dodge by making a sharp turn to the left, and to the right, into the flash of a camera held by Very Impatient dad, and “We spent too much money to be ignoredâ€, mom. No whistle from the refs, Granny and Mumsie go back to stalking mode in the middle of the dining room as an unsuspecting Wendy enters, it is a fine meal indeed. We told the boys the rules were to sit and wait until the character approaches and to only get up if we needed to take pictures. We were really proud of them for minding their manners. DB is pretty strict so they didn’t have much choice. We finished breakfast around 11:00 am, the sun was out and the park was really crowded! Briana took the boys to fantasyland to go on more rides. DN1 saw the Narnia display by the castle, but no white witch, we kept checking but no luck that day. When our family travels we don’t stick to a schedule, we usually have a mandatory meal or two, other than that everyone can pretty much do their own thing. With 8 siblings it is much easier this way than to make a schedule and stick to it. Everyone enjoys their vacation, no pressures of being somewhere at a certain time, except the meal, and usually someone is buying so we usually don’t miss it. Sometimes one of us will have a plan and the others may tag along. When we all are in Vegas we scatter, DH’s family joined us one year and it drove my MIL crazy that we didn’t stick together. She talked about it for years, not the good times we all had, but that we didn’t spend every waking moment together. Ai-ya! Different cultures thing, never again. We beg off at any hint, no, thought of traveling together. I only had 3 things that I really wanted everyone to see the Parade of Dreams, the 50th fireworks, and the block party in DCA. If we did those three things, cool, if not no prob. Brian and I just wanted to sit and take in the sights, sounds, and smells of DL. Around 2:15 call DB to tell him we are going to check in, then take a break, he is at Indy the boys were having a blast. I tell him we will meet up later. DN2 especially loved all the thrill rides. Figures, he is such a dare devil! Brian and I drive to the DLH, the bell person unloads our luggage onto a cart, makes a list and gives us the ticket, he says when we get into our room they will deliver our bags, okay, cool! The check in line is short, 2:30. No early check in. When it is busy at DL and check in is at 3 pm, they mean 3 pm. No worries, we sit in the comfy chairs, DH goes to the coffee shop and buys me a cup of tea and a huge Mickey Krispy treat, YUM! The front desk calls our name we are on 2124 in the Bonita Tour. We love the room it over looks the Neverland pool. PPH is in front, the Sierra tower is to our left, and restaurants to our right. We open the windows wide, Woo hooo we have a 5 inch balcony, LOL! We don’t care we are in the DLH and we love our room! Listening to the water and kids playing sounds like being on a beach in HI. We leave the windows open and take a nap. DL is open until 11pm and we are going to close the place down! We wake up at 4:30 pm ACK! We need to meet up with everyone around 5pm at R2P2. I call DB and tell him we are running late, no problem they are in line for Splash again. I tell him to meet us in TL for dinner when he is done. We walk to DtD and take the monorail over to TL. The monorail is just shuttling people back and forth from TL to DtD, okay that’s us, no prob. When we walk off we take a peek at the Nemo progress. oooooOOOOoooo tracks. DB, Briana and her family meet us at R2P2, we all have a nice meal. DH shares some of my spaghetti, he wants to get a turkey leg later. The boys are like energizer bunnies they keep going and going, and going. Jaime takes DN1 to use fastpasses for the Matterhorn and Space mtn. DH and I go shopping, and ride HM wow it seems darker inside, nice! I call DB they are saving benches for the parade. Yay! We meet up, DH buys churros and hot chocolate, my favorite parade snack. He buys a tukey leg but the nephews end up eating most of it. They love it! The parade starts, the floats are awesome, it is just too short, ha, we just are never happy! After the parade Dh and I walk to the penny arcade on Main Street. I am on a mission to get all 51 smashed pennies. There are 2 jammed machines, shucky darn. I’ll check back tomorrow. Briana & DB had taken the boys to Autotopia. The line was huge she calls and says they are going to watch the fireworks by the hub. DH and I head over. WE find them on the curb in front of the castle we take a seat. The nephews are anxious to tell me of all the rides they were on. Payton got to sit in the front seat of the log on splash, when they went over the falls he ducked his head so he wouldn’t get wet then was mad he missed the fall. Jackson loved Indy and wants to do it again before we leave. It is so cool to know they are having a great time. A voice comes over the loud speaker, due to the high winds the fireworks may be delayed. We wait until 9:30 pm. They announce they have been canceled. We do a few more rides then head back to the hotel. Before our trip I went to the Disney store to get souvies for each day we were at the park. I had some DCA things from last year that I got at the traveling character warehouse store. I got a stuffed Tigger and Pooh for $5, and some Disney dollars. I boxed them up, and when we were settled he took them down to the front desk. The CM there wrote To Jackson/Payton From Tinkerbell with some swirlys, real cute. When we got back to the DLH DH let them know we were back. The front desk called up and told Jackson There was a special delivery from Tinkerbell at the front desk. Payton was out so DB took DN1 down to get his special delivery. He thought it was awesome! The next morning Payton got his box and was thrilled to see what Tink left him, he later declared, “ I love Tinkerbell.†Next, early entry and DCA!

This is hilarious, I can just picture this and have tears running down my face I am laughing so hard.
