My son loved all the interactive things to do in there he wished we had more time. I hope they keep it around until our next visit. I think it is a must see. Anyone else? Very cool!

But overall ... Innoventions is a yawner. I see a sea of modern day compuuters .. and areas upstairs that look like a giant arcade. Basically an "X-Box" experience which makes it fairly ordinary. Disneyland .. on the other hand .. is a place with adventures and shows not commonly found in one's living room.

This 28,000 square foot facility deserves the E Ticket experience it's been in it's celebrated past.

In 1974 America Sings was an E Ticket. And though Carousel of Progress was free due to it's big sponsor backing it (GE) .... I'm sure many agree here it was an "E Ticket" on many levels.

Innoventions most likely will be tagging along for a few more years. Surely because of contracts with several of it's sponsors.

I'm hopeful the carousel theater's 4th tenant will be something pretty special.

I think acouple things that are cool are the litle entrance show with Tom Morrow, the projection sports/heatlh game on the floor, and the one that blew me away for the first time last weekend, Honda's Assimo show! It's amazing to watch a free standing robot mover like that and be able to "see" where he is and what is around him on his own right in front of you. That's a great thing to have in Tommorowland and I have to give respect to innoventors Honda for taking robots to the next level with this guy.

It's funny though - our son (now 9) used to be TERRIFIED of Tom Morrow (TM). We'd have to ask the CM at the door if we could "sneak in" and bypass TM - I'm not sure why he was so afraid of him - but he'd cry and cry if we "threatened" to drag him into IN and see TM. He was OK once he got in there - but going in was traumatic. Since it's not so popular - it was never a problem going in a "side door" and getting past TM.

You know, every time I see Tom Morrow I can't help but think that such an articulated animatronic belongs in a great attraction. Why have such a complex figure assigned to a routine speil that the host that's already there could deliver? Yes he's cool to look at but, underutilized is the key word here. This kind of sums up my whole feeling on innoventions as well.

This building should have been the 1st thing evicted from the TL98 makeover, and for some reasonl, someone has played a horrible pratical joke by keeping this as one of the last remnants of the cursed age of Eisner-Pressler=Harriss.

But they have added some mildly redeemingly interesting additions to Innoventions here from time to time, like the Virtual Resort, the Stitch phone booths, and Asimo.

But now that Steve Jobs will sit on Disney's board of directors, I'm thinking there may be a chance that Innoventions might benefit from that. Perhaps some cutting edge high tech stuff will be added to Innoventions. But then again, the place might just devolve into a display of nothing but iPods. Worse yet... just iPod Shuffles. That would be my worst nightmare.

Yeah. Like the motivation from creating an entirely better attraction, altogether.
