I was told that they usually pull the luggage before it goes to baggage claim, but they can just as easily pull it after. Or you can always pull your own luggage at baggage claim and bring it to the bus yourself. The woman I spoke with at DME was very helpful and explained the whole process to be and I felt alot better about it after I called. If it would make you feel better then you should call them. I hope you get everything worked out and have a stress free vacation.

I have gone over that twice with the DME agent. I will say...the little booklet is nicely done and quite informative.

Competitive level paintball guns are very expensive, and the team wanted to check their bags before leaving the airport anyway. We'll still be on the buses. Going back, we HAVE to check the bags with guns ourselves and lock them in front of the agents, so that works fine too. Bags without paintball guns can get tags from the front desk when we check in to the hotel.

Only a minor inconvenience that you'll have to claim your own bags, but still... Then again, smart that the kids want to check out their guns before leaving the airport so they can immediately escalate iwth the airline if need be.
