Kind of like there could be no DL without tiki room and IASW. Therefore I ask the question: Why do they have the gadget roller coaster? I waited 60 minutes once for a ride that is 59 seconds. I don't know I guess I just want to see another instant classic like Indy or something. Anyone else feel this way?

The Tiki room is definitely a symbol, like you said, but it's also not unpopular. Now as for Gadget's GoCoaster...I couldn't agree more. It adds a bit of excitement to Toontown, but if it went away I doubt it would be a huge deal. The line is huge because the capacity is sooooo small.

I suspect a lot of people like to joke about how bad IASW (and the song) is, but they really do like it. Not in the same league as POTC or HM, but still a Disney classic.

The Tiki Room has likely stayed because of its historical importance, being considered the first fully Audio-Animatronic attraction. It doesn't hurt either that it doesn't take up much real estate; there isn't much impetus to replace it.

Why did you wait so long when you can clearly see what you're getting? Do you have kids?

Every time we go to Disneyland we don't stop hearing about it until we take them on the "acorn coaster"

It may be tiny, but the thematic environment rivals Pirates, and the thrills are at least on par with Indy.

In my mind, there is NO toon town without the Go-Coaster. I would wait six hours to ride it.

    What a ride !!!!

I swear.... when it was over, my 7 yr old asked me -- "is that all there is???!!!" In my opinion, they need to rip that eyesore outta there and build something GOOD !!

I didn't do the Enchanted Tiki Room until I'd already been to Disneyland 4 (out of 6) times, and I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I definitely don't want to see Disney close them, especially if they don't replace them with anything!

Gadget's Go Coaster is fun, and great for kids who can't do the big coasters, but I'll only do it if the line is short.

To me, the feeling of your "butt dragging across the concrete" I get on the Matterhorn is a waste of time.

I also think it's cool that Disney put in a ride themed to Inspector Gadget, even though it's not really a Disney property, and it's the best themeing I've ever seen. The ride just takes me to a place of capturing C.L.A.W., hanging with Penny and Brain, etc. It's awesome !!! I could go to Disney and only ride the Gadget Coaster and be totally fufilled with my trip.

    Go-Go-Gadget Coaster!!!!

Oh yeah, I also celebrate all our different tastes when it comes to rides, that's what makes it so wonderful here.

And the feeling of dread when knowing that the spitting frogs are coming up!

    Look out !!!!

Whew, I'm getting the vapors just thinking about it.

Also, ride it again, and tell me you don't see the Inspector Gadget references. The hat, the glove, the crank, they are all there.

IASW is a classic which my kids love. As a child I loved it too, but now it is a place to get out of the heat.

I agree Gadget's Go Coaster is an awfully long wait for such a short ride. Altho, Toontown wouldn't be very exciting without it.
My niece now LOVES the Go Coaster since she got to ride on it with Minnie Mouse last time. She said Minnie was screaming little mouse screams while riding it.
