However, I mush ask.. #1 in what regard? Attendance? Profits? Number of hotel rooms? Brit tourists? Because while there is much quality at WDW, it does come up a bit short when you compare the similarities it shares with it's sister resorts, especially in the cleanliness and maintenance depts... Nevertheless... Glad that WDW still captivates most.

Etc etc etc... So for someone to name one resort as "best" is just someone's opinions which carries no weight except for making some people who do not nothing go woohoo! in the still of the night. But regardless... "best" is what makes YOU happy at any Disney park. Not what some stupid PR company is paid for by Disney to say on the Press. Reason why the best Disney critics are found right here, right now.

As to it being 'dismissed' by Disney, well, being that the royalties keep pouring in, that's not true. What is true is that the OLC (do you know what that stands for?) adheres to the real Disney standards of quality, cleanliness, show and safety while the Disney-owned parks (especially in Florida) pay lip service to it. So when people point out how much better so many things are in Tokyo, it rankles the geeks, who would be overwhelmed by going to a major American city like NY and would never even dream (if they could afford in our econonmy) of traveling to Japan ... and it rankles some of the Imagineers (who know they are producing lower quality product for the US parks) ... and it rankles the people in Entertainment (who don't seem to understand that if TDL can offer a dozen different parades in the course of a single year, why some 'purists' are actually offended at the crap they repeat year after year ad nauseum) ... and it rankles the Disney execs, who make the choices to cut quality and WalMart the USA product to hear that the OLC OutDisneys, Disney. So why don't you go read and look at the pictures, I think you can handle that, and learn why TDLFAN (and so many other knowledgable fans) rate TDL and TDS so highly.
