Originally Posted By ncnike7 I was sad too when we went in May and it was closed, I didn't think that I would never see it again though. One of my favorite displays was the Haunted Mansion, when they had the grave keeper guy standing there at the entrance. I took so many pictures! I also loved all the models and sculptures they had displayed that they used to help design the ride. Too bad it's gone. What were some other favorite exhibits?

Maybe they will install one of their print on demand machines in Disneyana? Althought there really isn't any room for printing in the back so it's unlikely. My husband and I kept putting off watching Fantasmic from the balcony-I guess we're too late now. I guess you shouldn't put things off that you really want to do.

We took our pics one last time on the patio by the fountain and took the one last stroll. AH! Crying now just thinking about it!!

Any idea of what will be done to the space?

It seems that his wife loved to rearrange the furniture and he loved to stay up late and read. So, the rearmost room that was going to be their bedroom has a whole slew of electrical outlets along the baseboards. That way, if Lillian rearranged the furniture, Walt could plug in a lamp!

Incredible bits of engineering when seen up close. Even more incredible was the opportunity to study them up close and at leisure.
