I've had too many tests and homework this week to get it yet, but I will. The online thing is huge, too. You'd be surprised at how well it works - I was skeptical at first. But I can jump in with a bunch of friends and we can go battle a bunch of other people. It's really amazing. And yes, my wife mocks me incessantly when I sit on my couch with a headset on to talk to my friends online while we play.

But I miss Halo.

But since this is a Halo thread, my friends and I have been playing Halo 2 every now and then when we hang out. I don't have an X-Box or a 360 though, nor do I really want one. Anyway, we would always do team multiplayer before we eventually decided to do the team games of Everyone vs. 5BR. I wasn't quite as victorious as I hoped I would be since most of the time it was 2-on-1, and sometimes 3/4/5+ on one. Nevertheless it was fun since my corpse(s) spent more time in the game than my actual character. I'm also a lousy shot and my friends will mock me when I'm looking at the sky or the ground shooting away. Once in a while, I would get a few shots in with my trusty sniper rifle or rocket launcher, but I would inexplicably fail with the other weapons. It was a challenge for my friends at times though. I would usually get the overshield, and even if I didn't have it, they would still go through rounds and rounds of ammunition before I finally died. The common question would always be "HOW did you get out of that one?". In other words it was like using an uzi to bring down a fly. The most commonly used levels that we used in Halo 2 were... -The large open space with the tanks -The really small level with the rocket launcher on the tree bridge and the overshield in the creek. -The apocalyptic-type Grand Canyonesque level with the jeep -The outdoor level with that giant turbine thing that has no purpose. I'd like to see a Pac-Man FPS...Eat lead Blinky, Pinky, Inky, Clyde and Sue!
