The show is called Disneyland Goes to the World's Fair, and features the Imagineers getting the various attractions ready, and includes a full ride-through of it's a small world. It's been a while since I watched it, but it's definatley on that DVD.

Relations between Disney and its original Mouseketeers have been somewhat frosty over the past couple decades. IIRC, there was at least one other musical number that was either cut or truncated due to royalty problems. Here's a hint: The TV technology of the time wasn't capable of smooth fades and crossfades.

It has since been settled, with the result that we got the Mickey Mouse Club first full week on a DVD set. It is complete, each show running at it's original length. A bonus on the MMClub set: the complete set of numbers performed by the Mouseketeers on the Dateline Disneyland broadcast, along with extremely rare color footage shot during the dress rehearsal. It's worth having!

The music companies have gone around the bend when it comes to charging exorbitant amounts for home video rereleases. Re-airing it, however, should have been included in the original contracts. Did you know that Disney doesn't own When You Wish Upon a Star (or anything else pre-Cinderella)? Pay attention to the next several Disney promotions ... you'll notice that A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes is being used instead more times than not.
