Avoid DL's Funnel Cakes!

    What it tasted like was that they had fried them up a looooong time ago and then just kept them in a warmer or warmed them up on demand-hence the non-crunchy-playdough like texture.

    After the Hillbilly show, there were at least 3 people at the counter demanding their money back from the playdough funnel cakes-they were THAT bad.

    I am spoiled, I go to Knott's for my Funnel Cakes, which are made from raw batter in front of your eyes, and then topped with Boysenberry Jam... YUM!!!

    As far as I understand... NO, they are premade, just like Churros, and then reheated.

    They are basically the same ones as dlkozy describes being sold at the Stagecoach Cafe.
