I'm all for Disney saving energy, but LEDs tend to just be a little too colorful for me, and look very modern. I hope that they found a way to let them fit within the theme, if they did switch over. And there seems to be something missing...oh, yah, the giant Christmas tree. Anybody know if it will be going in this year? I know that they usually have it over in the rose garden for the parade filming, and then they move it down Main Street to Town Square, but it seems like they have a replacement set up in Town Square with the soldiers and smaller trees. DL filmed its parade this past weekend, but I haven't heard anything about when WDW will do it this year.

Something about it interfering with the taping are location of some key element. I could be wrong though. I've slept since then.

Originally Posted By FerretAfros They put the stage for Regis and Kelly where the tree usually goes, so they can get the nice long shots all the way down Main Street to the castle with the parade coming down the street. It looks like this year they haven't put it up in the Rose Garden yet, which is kind of interesting, since they've already started the Christmas parties that they're charging an arm and a leg for.
